Stipe will always be in my little circle of favorite fighters of all time. He's humble, good sense of humor, recognizes what it means to be a fighter but also a man with responsibilities outside the cage. He makes a helluva role model and honestly the UFC is going to look back on Stipe's career after he retires and do some major rewrites to make it seem like they always supported the underdog. But never forget they shit on this man every chance they got
Agreed, but that all depends how his relationship with Dana White plays out when he eventually rides off into the sunset. To my knowledge Stipe doesn't have a particularly good relationship with Dana, because Stipe doesn't play ball. If he leaves on a low note with the boss Dana won't hesitate to bury him like he did with Frank and Randy, with the only send-off being a Hall of Fame induction as Dana has no choice.
