False. DC was ready for almost every strike in Jon's repetoire, taunting or not. There's just one look he hasn't seen much from Jon. He hasn't seen Jon throw headkicks, he prolly didn't see it on film he prolly didn't have any idea that was something he needed to prepare for. It wasn't focus, it's tendencies. A lot of these MMA fights are won and lost based on tendencies that are created in the gym.

It hurt to see DC crying. I cant imagine what it feels like to be on top like that and truly believe you will win and then get knocked out. So many emotions. As a fan of the sport i respect both fighters and I would most likely have cried too
looking back at it. must’ve been absolutely gut wrenching and frustrating, despair theres so many words to describe what he probably felt at that moment knowing that everyone will overlook everything thing you’ve done and you will be labeled as a guy who could never beat jon jones no matter how hard you worked and tried
especially knowing this is the only guy he had to beat to finally be complete in his career but to not only fail once but twice to a guy you truly cant stand and hate and have to stand there and admit that you lost and he was the better fighter and there is no rivalry now it’s finished after getting knocked out man i wouldn’t even want to be there i would want to leave and just go cry somewhere. dc has my utmost respect for standing there after everything
