    • @ Daily Dose of MMA In the case of a draw, the person who walked into the fight with the strap walks out with the strap. Look at Thomson vs Woodley 1. Aljomain retained the strap and successful defended the title even if it was a draw.

    • Dude is a crazy good grappler with bjj. Aljo is a legit fighter, I still thought yan would win and still think he’s the overall better fighter. I couldn’t believe he made it out of round 2 and then gave up his back again in round 3. I’m honestly surprised he gave it up after all after their first fight, but Aljo fought smart and yan a bit more on angrier side.

    • @@MrB4235 you don’t understand mma, most of those takedowns didn’t have the intention of taking down petr, it’s to cause level changes and confuse Peter so he doesn’t know where the fight is going. Also takedowns are a way of defence by clinching and avoiding strikes

    • He won by running and humping. Yeah he won rounds 2 and 3. And looked good. But on the feet, he had no really good moments, Yan was the one moving forward and landing at a higher rate on the feet. Yan controlled Aljo on the ground for rounds 4 and 5. I don’t see how he won this.

    • @@TheJstroud24 Round 1 was close but aljo outstuck Yan 20-13 in round 1 and controlled him in rounds 2 and 3. I really wouldn't call taking someone's back and locking in a body triangle and fighting for a RNC humping. It was a close fight and could've went either way.

  • I love how both Joe Rogan and Bruce Buffer say he is NOW the undisputed champion. That's really what this fight was about for Sterling and regardless of who you thought won and who was your favourite you gotta admit, that must've been a hell of a feeling for him. I'm kinda proud of him right now! He proved himself to the doubters. And they're still gonna say Yan won, but MAN, I don't wanna hear anyone saying Sterling can't hang with Yan anymore, cause he just did for five whole rounds, and even made him VERY uncomfortable.

The 1st round could have went either way. But no one destroyed anyone. It was a solid fight. Aljo needs to work on his standup to be a well rounded fighter.   • Honestly I never thought this result was possible. Yan toyed with him the first fight. Sterling improved a lot from that fight, and fairly won here. Imo he's the best talent we've seen from that gym including matt

    • I been defending Aljo for months but come on man. Go home. The fight coulda gone either way and it wouldnt have been a robbery. It’s subjective. One judge coulda said 2nd rd was 10-8 for almost being finished. One judge would say Aljo didnt do enough damage. Another would say Aljo won rd 1 and another would say Yan. There was no “clearly”. I thought it would go to Yan just to sell fight #3 tbh.
