    • @@othmanaljid9076 I felt that way too but then if you don't award the title to the contender, what incentive is there for a champion not to intentionally get dqed in a fight hes losing so the title only gets stripped and he gets an immediate rematch. I get why people don't like aljo being champ like that and I thought that way too at first but it sets a terrible precedent for the sport if you can't lose your belt to someone for an egregious foul. Considering the circumstances tho an immediate rematch will be scheduled and yan will probably take his belt back. Also sterling didn't underperform so much as yan is just a savage lol.

  • Sterling said he would do what khabib does.... Shows the levels to this game. Sterlings takedowns were all stuffed bar one. Yan got all 7 of hid. Sterling was clearly wavering and would have been tko late on. Illegal strike was obviously wrong and fight was rightfully called off. Immediate rematch which yan should win.

    • It was not rightfully called off. He could have continued. He was apparently wobbly and dazed for 7 minutes yet he had no concussion? That’s absolute bs. He faked it heavy. Yeah he should have gotten the full 5 minute break to recover which would have given him time to get stamina back and they should have taken a point away from yan. The only reason it was stopped was because he acted like he couldn’t continue which he could have. He was exhausted and laying with his head in plain view to get hit by yan. That was due to the fight. Yan is an idiot but that doesn’t change that sterling totally milked it
