  • I dont think this girl will ever understand the immense amount of support she has in the US and the World... due to her vulnerability and genuinely endearing personality. I'm two years older than Rose and I get nervous before her fights as if she was my only daughter!

  • Win or lose I'll always support Rose as she's a genuine, real person. Not afraid to show her vulnerability it's truly refreshing, endearing and important that we have people like her in the sport that are honest about their struggles with mental health. She has overcome some incredible opponents whilst battling her own demons. A modern age hero. Mad respect and love for Thug Rose.

    • Question: why are men generally “afraid to show their vulnerabilities,” yet us women are usually praised for it? I truly believe it is a strength for both genders, not a “weakness” (which in “societies’ sexist general viewpoint; applies only to men; which I do not agree with..) And, why are us women “praised for showing our vulnerabilities,” when in my and a few of my sister’s (unfortunate) experiences here n’ there in our lives, it’s been used AGAINST us?

      @angelwild9145@angelwild91452 жыл бұрын
    • @@angelwild9145 The topic is vast but I think you are spot on. It's an archaic mindset that needs to change. You're right emotions and vulnerability are a strength for all as everyone has them but for some reason it's seen as 'weak' or somehow makes the person 'lesser'. As you mentioned with yourself and sisters it is often weaponised against women especially "Be open and honest" then when a woman expresses herself it's "that's too much she's crazy". There's also the issue for men, in particular in 'lad' culture or that 'Alpha male' BS. That's why people like Rose and Tyson Fury are important figures in changing that mentality and showing that everyone has emotions and problems.

    • Definitely, admittedly I've overlooked her and that dominant win over Yan Xiaonan was a real statement. I think Carla might be a more challenging opponent for Rose than Weili because she brings a different style to the table that Rose hasn't fought against in years; pressure wrestling and grappling. Sure Rose has a deciding advantage in the stand-up, but Carla's takedown game is not to be underestimated, she's very difficult to submit on the ground and won't gas out either. There's every chance Carla simply has her number, and man would Dana be pissed if Carla won the belt back.

  • Rose is the most wholesome fighter. She doesn't hold anything back. She openly embraces her inner demons and her battle with them. Been a huge fan since she was on the Ultimate Fighter.

  • Rose is awesome. She's a great fighter, has a good personality and very cute. When it comes to UFC Champions, you gotta respect Rose, just for her accomplishments. I've seen alot of her fights, never been bored, always entertaining to watch Rose wreck someone. TERRANCE OUT
