You can accomplish anything you put your mind too bro. The road may be lonely but never feel alone.
I've been on a similar path in my profession. Can get demoralising, but backing yourself is important. "The end of a matter is better than its beginning..." All the best, Friend...
As long as you have long terms and short terms goals, you stay disciplined and you find balance between work and mental/physical health, you're good bro. It's not the destination that matters, it's the journey
Hard work is never enough. Timing and luck plays a big part as well. Like are we gonna say people like Dustin or Colby never put in enough time and that's why they'll never be champs?
The part with Penà & Mike had me tearing up. He even said that even if he ever doesn’t win a title. At least Penà won a title and he would be okay with it. That hit different 🥺✊🏼

I think he is just being realistic, the guy is in his mid 30s on a two fights losing streak in a division filled with killers bigger than him. He would be extremely lucky to get a titleshot on short notice let alone winning the belt.
He washed and he embarrassed himself.
Chiesa was drunk af😂😂
Maybe it’s just me but Nunes demeanor after losing the belt, the walk back, makes me think she’s probably feeling relieved In a way to lose the belt. Being a double champ cannot be easy on the stress levels. Either ways she’s a killer and so is Peña. Big congrats.
yeah, she does look like she just got rid of some burden.
You're not alone in that assessment. Plus she's had a kid and talked of retiring for awhile now, Amanda is probably one foot out the door for all we know. Whether this loss re-ignites the fire in her remains to be seen but I don't think she'll want to retire on a loss.
Well yeah, she took a dive
Haha!! Cope harder bro. That was a bit obvious. She folded bro. Everyone she fights from here on out is going to do nothing but clinch to gas her out. I'll bet Schev wishes she had taken it to Nunes way more now.

The respect level between fighters in this sport and the way majority of these athletes carry themselves and care for others & their opponents is the reason why I love following this sport so much. The only sport I watch, gave up on the other ones that are nothing but overly paid children. Much love to the UFC, Dana White & his staff and all the fighters for keeping providing us with quality entertainment & keeping good sportsmanship alive and well. God Bless🤝🍻
Right on man. I hope it never changes tho
Well said.
One of the main reasons I love the ufc and mma now bc of the humility
Amanda showed real sportsmanship man humble in victory or defeat 👏
That shot of Julianna Pena's daughter arm stretched out and with her hand on the gold is iconic. "Mama, you're the champ!"
Took those punches like a G and was still in her face. Badass
Nunes reaction to the loss was similar to how mighty mouse reacted when he lost. It's odd to see the champ not seem to care about the loss. Guess everyone reacts is different. Better than going into a depression.
Its almost as if a huge amount of weight was suddenly lifted off her shoulders.
Bro Pena’s daughter made me cry, first time in a LONG time I’ve cried. She deserves a W on her record too

beautiful to watch somebody achieve their dreams against all odds.
Kayla was angry she’s gonna have to make another mil In pfl lol
Oliveira is the real deal. What an amazing journey, am happy for Juliana as well, her next fight will bring a life changing paycheck.
Charles is the real deal no doubt about it, he weathered the storm in back to back fights, that's it for Dustin with all the grapplers in the division it's probably a wrap unless Justin gets the strap because he wants that win back from him.
Good assessment. I feel the same way it’s only going to get harder from here on out
This loss probably snuffed the fire out of him too. He'd be wise to pursue money fights from here on in, its not going to get any easier for Dustin.
I just love watching peoples dream come true, its pure happiness.
I feel so sorry for Dustin, he literally cleared the division, fell up short, got some more wins, only to fell up short again. He deserved the real belt but hey, thats the name of the sport. You might deserve something but you still have to earn everything by literally fighting for it. Still a Champion in my book.
@james Deer Very silly comparison. Oliveira and Khabib are not the same fighters, dare I say not even on the same level. Oliveira was beatable for Poirier, after all he had a lot of success in the first round against him. Khabib meanwhile, was never a winnable fight for Poirier because his weaknesses were Khabib's strengths. Khabib was not a winnable fight for anyone at 155, not even Charles.
@james Deer Khabib would have mauled Charles, his BJJ will not deter Khabib from pressure wrestling and smeshing him. In matchups like these, a world-class wrestler with high submission defence usually prevails over the BJJ specialist. In MMA, Sambo is the best base for MMA because its Wrestling, Judo and BJJ rolled into one grappling art. You need more than BJJ to beat them. Charles looked human in all his title fights. Its not me being a hater, its true. He got rocked and dropped against both Poirier and Chandler. Whereas Khabib was never rocked let alone dropped. I will give Charles credit for being able to smartly drop to his guard to recover and eventually win. But to say Dustin only had a punchers chance against him? GTFO mate. Far from me being a hater, more likely you are a blind Charles fanboy. You completely underestimate, or forget just how good actually Khabib was. I favour Charles against every 155'er now except Islam and even then I think it could be a close fight, but he's not beating Khabib.
Amanda took that upset like a true class act the whole time, champ mindset right there
Great footage. It lifted me up for what I am doing in my business life. Thank you.
0:28 the moment when Kayla realizes her big payday is now gone 😂😂😂
Valentina Shevchenko is the GOAT of WMMA. Always was and always will be.
Nah i disagree, she lost twice to Amanda but i know she really won the second one so lets say they're 1-1, Valentina has 7 title fight wins compared to 9 for Amanda and Amanda has fought tougher opposition, Amanda is also a double champ so if she can get her belt back from pena in a rematch then we really need to see the trilogy to determine who the best really is, if Amanda loses to julianna again and Valentina moves up and becomes double champ then i'd say she's the goat. Right now tho its still Amanda when it comes to accomplishments. I do however agree that Valentina is better skillwise but accomplishments matter more imo
Nunes better resume, a mile better finishing rate, double champ and beat her twice lmao. Pass the weed
No. Amanda Nunes has the better resume. Valentina arguably isn't even in second place.
And the most talented fighter in Women's MMA history
@Ex_Army the second fight was also close but Valentina should have won and the first one was close but Amanda deserved to win, trilogy needs to happen

@stalker1979 because every one of Nunes's opponents was just as confident. They lost and couldn't say I told you so. Like, what fighter is gonna say, hey I'm probably gonna lose this fight, let's see what happens. Or me saying I'm gonna flip this coin and it will be either heads or tails... It's tails! Told ya bro, I'm a genius.
@@markekar6021 Tf are you talking about. Calling a coin toss is pure luck, what does that have to do with Peña calling her shot after dedicating over 10 years of her life to become a champion? The amount of will and hard work it takes, thousands upon thousands of hours of torture, pushing yourself to your abosolute limit mentally and physically. So that was a stupid comparison. Also none of Amanda's previous opponents have been calling her out as long or as strongly as Peña has done for years, it was clear she had huge belief in herself when so many people didnt. If thats not worth an "i told you so" then idk what is.

What a dumb thing to point out and even dumber for you not to understand this
@@markekar6021 Buddy cant you read? I get your point, but like i just said Peña called her shot BEYOND the usual stuff all fighters say like "i know i will beat X, i will be a champion and get my hand raised etc..". She has been calling out Amanda Nunes before she even was a champion over 5 years ago, she has repeatedly gone out of her way to demand that fight in the media and to Dana more than what every challenger usually does, to the point of showing up to press conferences and asking him for it. Which came off ridiculous and over the top to most people because almost nobody believed she could win that fight. So when she finally did it, it was worth pointing out that she called her shot, because she's been saying it way more strongly and for longer than all of Amanda's previous opponents even tho to most people she had no chance at all. And again i do get your point but that coin toss comparison was beyond dumb.
