Zhang and Joana are savage and tough person. I've said this many times and will probably say thousand times again this was one of the most exciting fight. Both win heart of millions fans. Joana with that thing in her head and kept on fighting till 5th round was just absolutely impressive.
What was impressive was Joanna took most of Weili's shots. And that was a tired champ with only a couple of hours of sleep for 2 days and training camp that kept changing country 3 times. A fresh Zhang Weili would have destroyed Joanna.
Joanna is relentless, when she fought Karolina n Andrade she got punched straight to e forehead too but she keep on going n won e fight... She's feisty outside n inside e cage

Zhang is going to be a huge challenge for any current strawweights. Just a few things to consider. Going 5 rounds for the first time in her career, with the greatest 115er of all time no less, is a huge mental break through. She also took Joanna's best shots and kept walking forward, so her chin is very solid. And, she didn't even have a proper training camp for this fight. She flew from China to Thailand, Thailand to Abu Dhabi, and from there to Vegas, literally training part of the time in hotel rooms (I suspect most American/western fighters would've dropped out given that circumstance). So you can easily say that she wasn't close to her strongest self against Joanna. She's going to be beating bitches up at 115 for a good while.

She was purposely targetting her forehead instead of her chin and I think it's because she really wanted to disfigure her lol ! She wanted to do the most damage ! And don't tell me Zhang lacks accuracy. Those punches were clean af and imagine if she would have targeted her chin everytime with these punches instead of the forehead, the match would have ended way earlier.
