    • No doubt! I mean, it's certainly far from what you see from most of the mainstream mma commentariat or people like Bisping, but still definitely slanted focusing on some of Izzy's brilliant skill and technique while ignoring/underselling A;ex's equally as brilliant skill and technique. At the end of the day, even though this was way better than average, it's analyses like these that leads to 90% of mma viewers/fans to arrive to the conclusion that Izzy is by far the technically superior striker with Alex just having ridiculous ko power and not much else. He also straight up misrepresented the way that first round went, that round probably was going to go to Alex if it was for those last two shots from Izzy, and certainly wasn't a round where Izzy just outclassed him the whole way through - in the way this guy would have you believe. I also love this whole narrative that Izzy somehow dominated the grappling, i mean - Alex literally did way more damage and was all around way more effective in the clinch than Izzy was, and more importantly he was 1 for 1 on his take-down attempts, whereas Izzy had all 8 of his TD attempts stuffed minus one, that was actually first initiated by Alex attempting a poorly executed trip that Izzy reversed in mid-air. Granted, Alex definitely didn't look good on the ground after that, but if it wasn't for that one mistake on his part, based on how well he shut down every single other td attempt by Izzy - i don't think he woulda ended up getting on the bottom a single time for the whole fight. Which also is why that 3rd round coulda looked completely different and therefore woulda changed the course of the rest of the fight. At the end of the day, whether it was the td in the 3rd, or hanging in the pocket waaaaay too long allowing Izzy to rock him right at the bell, the points where Alex was damaged the most, though Izzy made the most of them, they had more to do with mistakes on his part than they did Ozzy's skill. Alex made all the big mistakes in that fight and still ended up winning

  • Regardless of the outcome of this. I will always appreciate what Izzy brings to MMA. His intro & run to the belt was so entertaining. He should utilize THAT fluid movement he had. Instead of this stiff sideways shuffle that lost all his fluid footwork. His best way to beat Alex is BEING MOBILE. Diverseness. Shiftiness. Lastly, in worst case scenario moment's Izzy has got to take away from the last fight that he's got to find new ways to get himself out of dangerous moments, how to be defensive and try your best to not let Alex get a easy finish just because defenses and mobility went out the window... Regardless win or lose I will tune into every Izzy fight because I really appreciate all the unique things he's brought to the UFC.

If anything people are hating Izzy and just denying Izzy's ability to succeed in this fight. Everytime. And once Alex does get that ko the fact Alex lost rounds and did horribly is non existent.

Everything Izzy does was "amazing, fantastic and perfect" . he even said that Izzy have some Dagestan blood and uses some moves from kabib . All the video , even the first part , that Izzy loses the 2 fights, this guy only talks about the good things Izzy does. For him Alex didn´t do nothing relevant to win 3 times against this great Izzy. This video is just fan love, zero analyze . only in the 36 min, this guy talks about a punch from Alex. It´s hilarious to see the final of this video and the sadness of this Izzy-lover when was forced to show the moves that made the KO . ha ha ha ha ha WTF... this guy didn´t see the real fight , this was not what happened , the fight was close and Alex was a force that keep going after Izzy. Alex don´t have the jiu-jitsu experience but he was the kickbox Champion and Izzy lost 2 times, the last was a terrible KO that put Izy to sleep. So Alex derve much more respect and a better Breakdown , because this was a bias breakdown form a Izzy-lover.
