  • I love how he doesn’t wait for the ref to stop the fight. He looks at his opponent to see if they’re out and feels their taps during submissions. No need for any extra punishment.

    • Blueclue.....yes I agree, that's one thing I wasn't fond of when Royce Gracie was fighting, he'd have his opponent in an armbar or a choke and would continue the hold even after the ref had tapped Gracie to let him know his opponent had given up. (he already knew in most of his bouts) Gracie was a credit to the sport in the beginning, but know one's perfect.

    • s w I think he only started doing that because I’m his first fight against Ken Shamrocks the ref was going to let the fight content because he didn’t see the tap so after that Royce was like fuck that you going to have to pull me off... So in his case I completely understand y he didn’t let go until pulled off

  • When we does his armbars, you can tell he's competed in BJJ at the highest level. They're not just technical but he's pulling with A LOT of force for the finish, expecting proper resistance and a solid escape from his opponent. Whenever he gets the armbar in MMA, he definitely hyperextends it for this reason. Not a knock on him though, he's great.

    • Most of the hype boys, which is now about 95% of UFC fanboys, would nearly pick Khamzat even if he was against Ngannou. The hype of this guys reminds me of Conor, and how UFC fanboys truly believed that Conor cold beat Floyd and beat guys multiple divisions above. UFC fans really leave a lot to be desired in the mental realm.

  • Durinho is one of the most criminally underrated fighters in the UFC today. High finishing rate, can fight anywhere, has multiple wins in 2 divisions, and he's not one to back away from a fight.

  • That transition against Sajewski is beautiful. The way he uses his right leg to prevent Sajewski from grabbing his arm is so subtle, but with the limited time remaining that’s the difference between winning vs finishing the round

  • Gilbert não continuou a golpear quando percebeu que o adversário apagou. Qualquer lutador sabe que no MMA a luta só acaba oficialmente quando o juiz encerra a luta. Existem lutadores que, diferente do Gilbert, se aproveitam da regra para ir de encontro ao bom senso. Parabéns Gilbert Burns por ser um grande lutador e uma boa pessoa. Para mim você é o exemplo de um campeão, e isso independe de ter ou não um cinturão! 👏👏👏

  • The way he slide and kept his foot on the outside of his southpaw opponent while throwing punches is elite. He made it look effortless but believe me that isn’t easy, especially while staying planted enough to land hard punches.

  • Flawless ground game clearly, but his stand up isn't bad either. That last slip-punch knockout was straight out of the boxing 101 textbook. It looks simple, but seeing it executed so perfectly in MMA is great.

  • This is a way tougher match up for Khazmat Chimaev than people think. Burns is insanely explosive on his feet and the most dangerous welterweight in the world on the ground. I don’t know if this is anything close to a sure win for Khamzat, might even be his first schooling.
