It still hurts my mind that ronda tried to box Amanda and holly
She had no other choice. She uses her boxing to set up the clinch (opponents dont just offer you their arms). She did that MULTIPLE times against Nunes, but Nunes just brushed off her attempts at clinches.
Rhonda was great at what she did. But she had real trouble when she ran into a good striker. It's hard to grab someone that is punching you in the face.
If only she could wrestle she could make things more interesting because she cannot close the range for a clinch

Ronda could have learned from Joanna. Instead of crying, refusing to do interviews, refusing to answer any questions regarding the loss, Joanna fought Rose again, fought Valentina who she had already lost to three times in kickboxing and gave Zhange who's been on an absolute tear a run for her money in one of the greatest fights (male or female) that I have ever seen in my life! She technically isn't the champion but she has a championship spirit that should be respected.

Women's MMA has had some spectacular fights over the years. I don't even consider it lesser than men's at this point.
You can still look at it as being lesser from the fact that the women's divisions aren't as "deep" talent wise as the mens and won't be for years, but yeah, they have had some pretty entertaining fights.

After watching dan hardys herb dean response video the “ fencing defence or fencing response” makes so much more sense after watching the Tate v Holm fight.
