Andrei Arlovski defeated Tim Sylvia at UFC 51 in 2005 to claim the interim heavyweight champion and later that year was elevated to undisputed champion. 15 years later, Arlovski now holds the UFC record for most wins in the heavyweight division with 18.

It's really crazy that arlovski is still running and still doing well.
Crazy to think he's been around fighting for over 20 yrs now. No one else doin that
Same as alister ubreem
I thought he was done
Just finished watching him fight a guy 11 years younger than him. The guy is phenomenal for his age. I always wondered if he had the same skill set he has now as he did when he was younger he would have been on the side of more wins on his record. Many of his fights where he lost by ko was him being too reckless and relying on his power and youth. Once he got in the UFC and got a few more ko losses he came back with amazing defense, patient striking, footwork. One of my favorites to watch.
Thats how wolverines be 🐺🐺
For a 12 year old me back in 2005, when he won the Title, he was the coolest looking dude I'd ever seen fighting.
Ever.
Same man he was the champ when I first really started getting into mma. I was also 12 lol
@Official Waffle House Host Recruiter The fang mouthpiece was badass along with the chest hair lol
@WASABI the opening comment is legendary I salute you
For me, Frank mir back in middle school, but Andrei is amazing and I love seeing his highlights.. MMA is a lovely sport
Arlovski scared the shit out of me when I was a kid when he had the long hair and hairy body with the fangs mouthpiece, I thought he was a straight up killer then
So true! and he was back then. Hands down one of the baddest men on the planet at that time in hand to hand combat.
True 👍
Yes lol, but little did you know that as an Orthodox Christian his quest is for humility and repentance in Christ :) Just like Fedor :) and I must say myself also :) Christ IS Risen!
Lol
That's what made me like him
Andrei is legend at HW fought killers and still relevant today
Fighting? Yes. Relevant? No.
All respect to the guy, but yea I wouldn’t really consider him too relevant in today’s game
OneToPBBloveYou.Link
Well he beat rothwell who beat overeem who beat struve who beat stipe
@@MrLuka-ys4wy Andrei also lost to Fedor who lost to Dan Henderson who lost to Anderson Silva who lost to Uriah Hall who lost Kelvin Gastelum who lost to Tyron Woodley who lost to Nate Marquardt who lost to Rory Mcdonald.
Most fights, wins, decision wins and fight time in the History of the hw divsion. Andrei Arlovski is a Legend🇧🇾🇧🇾🇧🇾
Kinda easy to achieve when u been in the ufc since 1977
@@italianstalian331 I think he means overall wins in Heavyweight MMA in general, not just the UFC. Andrei is a true pioneer of the HW devision, he definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
Ur damn right!
@@italianstalian331 well it’s kinda not easy to be in the ufc that long
@@guswhitt1748 and competing in the hw division
Props to the UFC for showing all these different organizations and also giving Arlovski a great highlight video for a great career.
Damn, time flies. Can’t believe how old he got. I feel like he just beat Tim Sylvia. I’m getting old lol
Was thinking the same bro lmao damn..

Andrei Arlovski holds the record as the only heavyweight fighter to win and defend a title fight at 15 seconds.
Dr
@sun downer 77 Are you talking about the Aaron Brink fight? Lol Andrei would of won that fight no matter what. Brink is a complete bum, washed up porno actor, the only way he was winning that fight is if he brought a gun lol
@sun downer 77 true
@sun downer 77 you understand grabbing the fence was legal for many years right. .,?
*Motivated Mcgregor has entered the chat*
It amazes me that Andre is still learning he went from a brawler to a technical striker with high amplitude takedowns when he wants to i love when someone keeps getting better as they age
I like your "getting better with age" i live by the same rule
If fighters don't get more technical as they age they just get beat. If a fighter relies on their physical abilities only, when they age and the physical is fades they they lose their ability to compete.
@@moto-fl3rdTony Ferguson
@@kratosofspartareal tony kind of went the other way sort of. He used to be known for his jujitsu, unique striking and wrestling. But be seems to have lost that and tries to rely on cardio and ability to take a punch. It's a very Tony thing to do I suppose!
Honestly one of the most storied careers in the UFC Heavyweight division. The most fight time of anyone in the division and a belt to back it all up.
And multiple title defenses
you mean steroid*
@@PhobosCollective everybody's on steroids - Nate diaz
I've always loved watching Arlovski fight
Yeah, he is great. Been around forever. The pitbull!!!
Yesh he's a dog when his face isn't being pummeled into the canvas

The Guy Has been taken Hundred of punches and given hundreds of punch to people for 20 years god damn. Legend 🇧🇾🇺🇸
If you remember ufc back in the mid 2000’s, you’ll know that the pit bull was one of the scariest if not the scariest dude on the planet. He was such a beast. People shouldn’t forget how good and intimidating this guy was at HW. UFC hall of famer for sure
3:40 Andrei "Anticlimactic but very climactic at the same time" Arlovski
what does that even mean?
I see what you did there😉😉

Legend of the MMA world
What i've learned its like this dude punches so strong its weird all his opponents barely look look like they get touched sometimes but it just rocks them crazy stuff! Dudes a beast!
Damn. 20yrs in the ufc
I miss that old Arlovski that didn't just try to knock people out, he was actually submitting some elite guys
Arlovski’s legacy will live. Truly one of the most skilled and well rounded mma fighters of all time.
This guy does good work his induction into the hall of fame will be unprecedented mark my words
I've been watching him all my life. What a fighter.
This guy has been my favorite fighter since I was a kid. It’s awesome seeing him still go out and get it done!
Arlovski is one of the greats. It will be a sad day when he finally retires.
My favorite UFC heavyweight of all time! What a beast. He was LEAGUES ahead of all the other heavyweights during his reign as king!
@Who want the dancehall fi stop? Ahh man, you caught me... I’m just a casual UFC fan. Damn man, I didn’t think anyone would notice that I’ve only been watching UFC since 1996.
@Who want the dancehall fi stop? 👍
Hella underrated top 5 heavyweight all time and a class act
Arlovski vs Browne will always be one of my favorite fights OHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Yes sir
His versatility at Heavyweight was revolutionary
One of the greatest heavyweight fighters in UFC history!
Got a pick with him when I was 5 years old. Forgot about him and came back to MMA when I was 14, got obsessed with him and mon pulled out the pic. Crazy experience, all time favorite heavy weight for sure
The original Pitbull. I remember his fang mouthpiece was one of my first memories in MMA. It's as iconic as the ice shorts Liddell wore or the flame shorts Tito sported.
One of the All time Greatest
One of the best fighters ever.
This guy looks like he's gonna be good one day
Nice joke
@@godofhell322 Thanks I was going to use it as my opener

Never Count out my guy Arlovski already a Legend and OG of the sport
Underrated and underappreciated
Arlovski vs Travis brown a classic surprised they didn’t include it
I know right. That's an absolute disgrace. That was one of the most entertaining back and forth bout ever
One of the most legendary fighters
This dude should be in ufc hall of fame 🔥
My favorite UFC HW fighter of all time! He has been counted out by so many people I have seen him reinvent himself and prove that he doesn't have a glass jaw and that he can box just as well as anyone in the division. I did get a good laugh when he did that fence grab in his first UFC fight to get that armbar belly down I hadn't seen that before. You can never question his resilience and love for this sport.
“Id like thank my jiu jit coach my box coach” haha I’ve always loved andrei arlovski. One of the heaviest overhand rights I’ve ever seen
Andrei had such effortless knockout power. Shit was so crazy.
It's satisfying in many Sports when you see a veteran still compete, even if their a shadow of what they used to be just seeing them compete is great, especially for longtime fans.
Why didn’t you guys include his fight with Travis Browne? That was such an significant win for Arlovski not only because Alrvoski the underdog but he also finished Browne TKO!
I have to give Andrei Arlovski his credit this guy is 41 years old still doing the damn thing respect to this Belarusian Beast
Gotta love how he came in as Andrei Orlovski from Russia, before becoming well-known enough for them to pronounce his last name correctly, and eventually acknowledge that he was, in fact, from Belarus. And amazingly, he's still sticking around, serving as a verteran gatekeeper at HW who still wins quite consistently. Dude definitely deserves a spot in the HoF.
The same announcer said in the same fight first that he was from Belarus, he just said Russia later like he figured they were interchangeable.
Lots Of Love from Malaysia 💕💕
The reason why arlovski can still fight after 20 years is he doesnt use PED's
@A.B where prove it
@A.B ive never been on juice, i disgree not every athlete is using juice
About time the UFC gave him any recognition or credit the last decade. Seems like they never highlighted the fact he was like one of the UFC's heavyweight champions until just now. Tim Sylvia was the biggest heavyweight (quite literally) in the UFC in the day. and when arvlovski took him out I went nuts. I was so stoked to see him back in the UFC and looking to finish his legacy and career here. He's still pushing and hanging in there with the newer generations of premier, top level MMA heavyweights. He deserves a lotta love
This guy has been a beast from day one
20yrs and still 🔥
Arlovski....hall of fame....💪💪💪
Forever a fan.
I was born and partially raised in Edmonton, Alberta and I'm STILL pulling for Arlovski tomorrow. Such a fucking legend. Never gave up no matter the tribulations, has never been discouraged from his goal of recapturing gold. He takes on all comers, always: fellow legends, young destroyers, phenoms, debutants, everyone. It really is remarkable. NO ONE fights at heavyweight at the most elite level of this sport for twenty fucking years and counting, and is still always a threat. NO one, save maybe for Overeem but he's mixed in kickboxing. The original Pitbull is the only real one. Long live this warrior.
Thanks for the video!
One of my favorite fighters.
Arlovski is criminally underrated fighter
He always been one of my favorite fighters
My first "favorite" fighter from 12 years old. Almost 31 now. Love this dude

im thankful for this, i almost went on unaware of how much of a beast arlovski was
Arlovski is one of the most scariest guy lve seen...
I love Arlovski, I been watching him since his first UFC HW run. He doesn't get the credit he deserves, he was a fast, technical and scary HW. He was the best HW at his prime. His loses in and outside the UFC makes people dismiss him as one of the greats.
One of my all time favorite fighters
This Camp was my high school hero, I joined a gym and wanted to be a ultimate fighter. Iv since changed career paths but man those were the best years of my youth. Andrei Arlovski will always be my 🗣Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion of the World!👊
