  • I've grown to appreciate Lesnar's UFC career. With only one MMA fight under his belt, he signed with the highest level of MMA competition UFC and debuted against their former heavyweight champion. In just a few fights defeated one of the greatest heavyweights ever Couture for the championship and defended it twice against Mir and the undefeated Carwin. Remember he began his MMA career at the age of 30 and jumped straight into the deep end

    @cristianogoalz4260@cristianogoalz426010 ай бұрын
    • "Jumped straight into the deep end" is a weird way of saying "was granted opportunities for next to nothing that other fighters had to actually earn" If he had to get 8 fights under his belt, like Mir or Valasquez did before getting a title shot, there's no chance he comes out of those 8 fights with a 7-1 or 8-0 record like those guys did.

  • That show of respect at the start of the 2nd between Carwin and Lesnar was beautiful, how Lesnar survived that 1st round just shows how much of a fucking beast he really is

  • Carwin was a total beast, knocked out Mir, Gonzaga etc, but Brock proved he was a tremendous athlete being able to adapt to MMA and actually won + defended his title in only several fights.

  • Amazing job by the ref Brick was getting hurt but he was defending intelligently never got rocked to the point where didn’t know what was happening and would posture and do enough! UFC needs to let fights go more these days they call it off so quickly

    • His finish on Frank Mir is fucking scary. I remember watching it as a fairly new fan to the sport (Brock was what introduced me to the sport as I was a WWE fan as a kid) I remember getting bored with the holding in the clinch then Shane just unloaded with uppercuts and he doesn’t stop until Frank dropped. I was just in awe at the sudden ferocity. Definitely one of the moments that solidified me becoming a true fan of the sport.

    • This days Shane Carwin was undefeated 12 wins and 0 Loses and 12 knockouts and all knockouts in the 1st round... I think this record was the greatest have ever seen in UFC until today.. Carwin was unstoppable knockout machine.. no one was available to stop him this years.. and he absolutely destroy the prime Frank Mir in seconds like a no one before.. and Brock when he was sick by diverticulitis he did this.. he survived lot of heavyweight brutal punches and elbows on his face and he stop him and beat him.. this night Brock Prove to the world why he was the best in the world and become the undisputed UFC h/w champ. Big respect to Brock Lesnar for this night. Lot of fighters say if Brock wasn't sick he should was UFC champ for long years. FACT
